Lumbar surgery, I have had two very successful lumbar spine operations from Dr. Mohan. I recommended him to others and two of those people had surges from him, one lumbar and one cervical spine surgery’s. Both people were very happy with Dr. Mohan and their results. I had one previous surgery to the two I had with Dr. Mohan and it wasn’t successful and was totally miss diagnosed about a corrective procedure. I would recommend Dr. Mohan to anyone with confidence.

Outstanding Dr., Had an appt. with Dr. Mohan, his staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, Dr. Mohan is friendly, sympathetic, and he will answer his phone 24/7, other than if he is in surgery or at a meeting he will get back as soon as possible. I recommend Dr. Mohan who has any kind of spine problem.

Took a chance on this Dr. for my spinal fusion. I was in so much pain and needed to find a orthopedic surgeon asap. Found him on line and picked him based on his reviews, his reviews don't tell the whole story. He is the first Dr. that answers his phone day or night. Most understanding and symphetic Dr. that I have ever met. I would recommend him to anybody who needs his help. His office staff matches him in their integrity and care of the patient.

I had my surgery on Sept. 5, 2019. After the surgery, I've only had 3 little pains in my back that were healing pains. His bedside manner is beyond belief. He treats you like your his best friend and wants to make you feel better. He sure did for me! Thank you, Dr. Mohan

I had a complicated cervical surgery on Sept 6, 2019 and Dr. Mohan preformed the surgery. Not only is he one of the most competent physicians that has ever worked on me, but his confidence inspires you. His office staff are caring and compassion with amazing follow up. They are knowledgeable and helpful every time I call. I have a long way to go with my recovery but I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Mohan as my surgeon and recommend him to anyone in the Chicago area with back issues.

After years of chronic back and leg pain I was referred to Dr Mohan at his Hoffman Estates office. From the first phone call I was treated in a way I really didn't expect. I was given a quick appointment to see him by his staff and asked to bring the necessary records for him to review within a few days. Upon arriving I was created by very friendly people and within a short time I was in with Dr Mohan. He had reviewed my lastest tests results and history and he explained that my problem can and would be fixed which was a real surprise. He showed me that my SI joint's were wore out and the slight movement of them caused me the pain I have been dealing with 24/7 could be fixed. We set up the proper new tests and then surgery to get the problem taken care of. Needless to say I still had some doubt but for some reason I had alot of faith in what he said. Well after the surgery and rehab my pain level has really dropped and he only did the right side which was the worst. In addition Dr Mohan said he would get me off the pain med's I've been taking for a long time. At this time I'am still in recovery of healing but doing good and not much pain as before and I have stopped taking the pain med's alos. Dr Mohan is one DR I firmly believe and trust and if you have the same problem he can fix yours also. Thank you Dr Mohan for helping me..............

Dr. Mohan and his staff are the best! He has taken such good care of me, goes above and beyond, is extremely knowledgeable, made my family feel comfortable, has a fabulous bedside manner, and is an extremely skilled surgeon. I've have the privilege of also working with Dr. Mohan in the OR before being his patient, and I highly recommend Dr. Mohan. I know a lot of spine surgeons in the Chicago area, and could have picked anyone. I chose Dr. Mohan! You should choose him too!

Dr. Mohan is a very special Physician, when I first met him to talk about the sciatic nerve pain I was experiencing, I felt an immediate sense of trust in him. He explained to me in detail what he could do for me which included spine surgery, he took the time to answer all my questions and when I opted for surgery, he asked when I wanted to have the surgery and I answered “next Tuesday” then he got me in within a week. Dr. Mohan is exceptional in that he is very kind, compassionate, meticulous, never arrogant, always courteous, trustworthy, humorous, always interested and doesn’t forget what you say, and he truly cares about his patient’s whole well being. When I went in for surgery I was in major pain, after the day of surgery and recovery I had very little pain which proved to be true from the time I went home and all through six weeks later. I was given some strong medications for pain and muscle spasms but all I needed was 2 Extra Strength Tylenol per day which was amazing to me. I must also say that his staff at the front end are cheerful, kind, professional and true to Dr. Mohan. I had two follow up appointments with Dr Mohan and I never once had a long wait to see the doctor, he allowed ample time to make sure any questions or concerns will be addressed in the follow ups which were always a positive experience. I feel so good about the outcome of the surgery and I am glad I went with it, new and old desires came to me because of it include getting back to horseback riding, dancing, pursuing a new job, taking some courses at a college and clearing out old “stuff” that I don’t need from the house. Dr. Mohan is not just a good doctor, he is a great doctor and the best I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

I had been battling lower back and leg pains for over a year. I needed a L4-L5 and L5-S1 Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion. Dr. Mohan has been blessed with gifted hands! Aside from minor pain around the incision site I felt like a new person after surgery and was walking the hospital halls in less than 24 hrs! I’m now 10 weeks into my recovery from cervical spine surgery, and even though I have to wear my cervical neck brace for another 2 weeks, I am still totally pain free. I have been walking vigorously since the day after my surgery, and can’t wait until Dr. Mohan tells me I can do my own yard work. I can't compliment the Dr. enough for his time, expertise and kindness. Dr. Mohan is my hero.

I can't believe how much time this doctor spent teaching me and doing such a full assessment - not only did I want him to do my surgery, but I went back after herniating another (different) disc, and feel great - back to golfing - thanks1

I had discectomy of l3/4 and dr Mohan was wonderful. He explained what I'm up against nothing but the truth. On day 5 have leg pain on and off and on but I'm walking quite a bit and hoping to do what he says. Very thankful for what day Mohan has done for me.

I inadvertently hit the wrong button in my 7-14-16 review of Dr. Mohan. I could not edit it until now. It showed only 3 stars, but I want to give him a 5 star rating. Dr. Mohan literally gave me back my life. I can walk now without assist of a cane and roller walker. I am not in pain of this kind any longer. Now it is just arthritis but I can deal with it unlike before spine surgery. I would recommend him to anyone, any time, any place. He is kind, caring, and a special gift to spine surgery.

Dr. Mohan is very competent. I would recommend him highly. My surgery went well and the results were excellent. I am glad he did my surgery.

Dr. Mohan took a lot of time listening to me before and after surgery. I felt he was very knowledgeable and competent. My surgery was a complete success.
